I’ve always enjoyed writing. But when I got into pharmacy college, I knew I’d have to stick to conventional pharmacy careers.
I never knew that medical writing—even as a full-fledged career path—was a thing.
I somehow got hold of freelance platforms and started freelance writing as a side gig in my third year of the PharmD program. Little did I know that what I pursued as a ‘side hustle’ could become an unconventional but highly rewarding career in medical writing.
So when I graduated, I got a full-time job in the Quality Operations department of a pharmaceutical company. This role allowed me to learn everything—from compliance and quality audits to in-process quality control, SOP design, review, control, and documentation.
It was during this time that I discovered my true passion: research and writing.
Around 2016, I started exploring freelance platforms again and that’s when everything changed: Clients and companies were looking for services like medical blogs, B2C medical articles, B2B healthcare content, wellness blogs, technical content, and research-backed scientific content – the options were endless!
I started pitching out to clients (and some approached me, too!) and since then, there’s been no turning back. Today, I bring tremendous experience in medical communications, medical education writing, and technical writing.
Through these years, I’ve mastered the power of words to engage the audience and build real connections in the online world.
